Hello!

My Story

Hi, I’m Christina Spears (aka Floristina), owner and lead designer.

My flower story really begins on the tee-ball and soccer fields. I was vastly more interested in picking the dandelions and clover flowers than chasing after balls.

After college, I worked a stint as a “shop girl” at a retail florist where I learned different flower varieties and I was able to play around with flowers and experiment. This experience planted a seed in my heart that this could be a career.

Fast forward several years later, I was in a corporate management job and certain circumstances led to me being miserable in that position when the opportunity came up for me to go to floral design school. I had recently turned 30, unmarried, and childless; so this was the perfect opportunity to take a chance and make a career change. 

The rest is history!

Experience: I’ve worked almost every position from “shop girl”, to floral wholesale, to retail, to freelancing on celebrity weddings and events.

Fun Facts: When I’m not designing, you can find me baking, gardening, or watching Oklahoma Sooners sports.

I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and I’m absolutely obsessed with them.
